Dr. Gaurav is a dental surgeon trained at Uttaranchal Dental & Medical Research Institute and a specialist in dental implants. He also holds a Master of Public Health, and it shows in how he practises. He wants you to understand your own teeth, explains every option in plain language, and puts prevention first.
The Haldwani studio serves the city, and the Munsyari clinic brings the same standard of care to the high hills of Pithoragarh district.

Ask a questionWith modern local anaesthesia it feels much like getting a filling. Mild soreness for a day or two afterwards is normal and settles with the medicines we prescribe. The real pain is usually the infection before treatment, not the treatment itself.
Most healthy adults with enough jaw bone are. Uncontrolled diabetes, heavy smoking or active gum disease need to be managed first. Dr. Gaurav examines you and takes an X-ray before recommending an implant, and explains every option, including bridges and dentures.
Usually between 11 and 14, once the permanent teeth have come in, but adults can straighten their teeth too. An early check around age 7 helps spot bite problems while they are easier to guide.
Every six months for a check-up and cleaning. Regular visits catch cavities and gum problems while they are small, quick and inexpensive to treat.
